John Burton

I qualified from Cambridge veterinary school, started out in mixed practice but decided to concentrate on small animal work, which I have done mostly in the South Yorkshire area, and I have been looking after the High Green branch of Abbey Vets for 5 years now (!)

I am interested in lots of different areas but my favourite species we deal with is the cat, so  I particularly like feline medicine and surgery and I also have a particular  interest in the treatment of tumours in pet animals.

Outside work I love the great outdoors and particularly cycling, and generally spending time with family.
