Our Darton practice is perfectly situated for easy access

Abbey Vets Darton Barnsley Centre was once a bakery, but now boasts two consultation rooms, a kennel room and spacious reception area. The surgery is open 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, including evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based at 23 Church Street – the main road running through the village – the centre is fully air conditioned to keep your best friend as comfortable as possible in their surroundings. Whether it’s time for your pet’s booster vaccination, or you simply need some advice about something that has been concerning you, a short trip to our surgery could improve your pet’s health and help put your mind at ease.

The surgery is open Monday to Friday at the times shown below. If you wish to speak to the office staff, make an appointment, or have a non-emergency question for one of the vets please call during these hours.

Out of Hours

We are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year and pride ourselves in providing an out of hours service to the local area using our own staff. In the event of an out of hours emergency please call the following number: 01226 242 217

The surgery is closed on bank holidays, Christmas day, New Years day, Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive.
